I hope you all enjoyed the living room reveal that went live on our grid today!
We have been working so hard over the last two months transforming this room and I'm so happy with the end results.

THE MARKLAND SOFA was an idea I had when searching their pages for designs which just weren't 100% right for us. I sent Josh a few photos of design aspects of different sofas that I loved and asked them to design it for me. They came up with the most beautiful end product and even went out of their way to source things I wanted such as rose gold upholstery studs on the arms and base of the sofa design. Their service was above and beyond what you would receive from a high street retailer and its always nice to support a family run small business, isn't it?
As promised, I have also added below a few progress pics of the stud wall we built for our new fireplace. As you can see, this is basically just a load of wood cut up, stuck together and plastered - simple! (or so I like to think hehe). In all honesty they worked damn hard to get this done for me and Kyle has really out done himself, the finish is so well done and it looks amazing. There are so many you tube videos online you can follow and we only spent around £250 on this rather than the £1300 I was quoted.
The fire itself is absolutely stunning, we collaborated with a company called Fireplace Factory on this and I'm so impressed with the quality of the fire. It has changing coloured lights and also different options for the stones inside which we can change whenever we like as they all come with the fire. Their range of wallpapers has always been a favourite of mine, they have such a great range of Rose gold and Blush pink wallpaper amongst other colours. I wanted a pink texture with rose gold accents so this range was just perfect.
Finally the rug.. Oh my gosh its just so beautiful! I have never owned a rug of such high quality. The texture is to die for and it finishes the room off perfectly. My prints on the wall are from Desenio and the wall art from Wayfair, but unfortunately this has now sold out. I added cushions from next and the softest velvet curtains from Home Bargains. My storage trunks were gifted to me a while ago from my faves at Beautify (https://www.beautify.co.uk/bt_en/cream-storage-trunks-set-of) and my coffee table was from Designer Sofas 4U, accessorised with a tray and candles from next.
